There are evil people and evil people who are good at being phony. That accounts for at least 99 percent.

There are a few good people, and they remain good by hiding from the other 99 percent. There's a seminar for that! Here's a newspaper article -- email me if you're interested in it:

No. Evil is evil. You cannot be evil and good too.
But you said, "trying to be good" Trying is not doing. If you equate evil with being sinful, we are all sinful by nature and the curse of old. Overcoming evil, or our sinful nature is not possible without Divine intervention.

Why think evil? More than two types of people, you will find most people mean well to others. You need yin with yang for balance, this comes with freedom of choice granted by our Lord.

I totally disagree.

Evil people dont try to be good... they are evil and could care less.

Take Dick Cheney, he's about as evil as evil can be.... nothing nice about that man.

Not at all!

You forgot:

Stupid people.
People who are absorbed in something interesting, and it isn't you.
People who really *are* good.
Mathematicians.
People who are good most of the time, but now and then shoot the bird to bad drivers.
Children, who are not evil so much as self-absorbed.
Musicians and artists.
