Who is freakishly scared of flying?

My bf wants to take me on a nice romantic vacation, but I refuse to fly. I'm soooooooo scared. On 9/10/01 I had a dream I was in a plane and suddenly a fireball shot from the cockpit into the cabin and I died. I think it was a sort of premonition of 9/11. Now I'm way too scared to fly. Is anyone else super scared to fly?

I used to be scared to fly until my first flight. Now I have flowing in airplanes, helicopters and a hot air balloon. Just remember if it is that much of a problem there are a lot of romantic places to go that you don't have to fly to get to. Good luck.

whats to be scared about, it's safer than your car, you have multiple back up systems, proven aerospace technology, a crew instead of just one person looking out for the craft, ground support radar, air born radar, the best communications systems in the world, Highly skilled Pilots that were trained in the military, and love to fly + "HORSEPOWER UNLIMITED" when she's WIDE OPEN, "TURNING AND BURNING" down the runway, GOD I LOVE IT, when those engines are up at altitude, thats when they're most dependable, even if you lose an engine, the plane can still take off and land, relax, enjoy the science of flight "WE CONQUER IT EVERY DAY MANY TIMES !

I know it sounds strange but, I LOVE BEING UP THERE, IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL !

I was when I was little but when on the plane it felt fun, and everyone else around was so relaxed, so it was easy to chill. Why worry about something you have no control over? People are more likely to die in a car accident, or have a heart attack. Try some Dramamine Pills. Hope you have fun :)

I flew one time, I was nervous but the ride was fun. I don't want to fly again unless I just have to.
