If you dyed your hair darker, you'll need to have a professional strip and recolor your hair. If you lightened your hair, you may be able to redo it yourself, but I'd still recommend going to a pro - that way, you know it will come out the color you want it to.

They actually make a product now that does just that . It's not real hard on your hair and alot less spendy than going to the salon. I'm not entirely sure but I think it's put out by either Clairol or Loreal and sold anywhere haircolors are sold.

I know exactly how you feel! I got my hair dyed a while back and wanted purple highlights but ended up with light brown/blond roots! it was horrible, but I just went back to the place i got it at and they were more than happy to re-do the whole thing. So i recommend that if you did get it done by a professional; that you go back and complain. Now if you did it yourself, well you might want to see into seeking a professional to fix it up.

It is harder on your hair to strip the color off. Hair can become really brittle with this process. The best thing to do is find a hair color closest to your natural shade and redye it. I had a similar experience. My hairdresser said stripping the color would be to harsh, she redyed my hair.

go to a salon and get it stripped or go to a slaon and get this new technique that reverses the color like if your hair is borwn but its more blonde now this process will reverese ur hair color and make it more brwon than blonde.
