hes in a wheelchair and no i dont pity him i love him, but the verbally abuse is making me depressed i dont want to leave because i love him and he wont tak to me because he thinks im stupid

Don't take crap from your boyfriend, especially if he's in a wheel chair. Point to the stairs and tell him he'd better watch it, he'll know what you mean.

Sounds like dude has some issues of his own. Firstly don't listen to him. You are not stupid. Seems as though he may feel you are intelligent and he is not up to par with your intelligence. Don't let him take out his own insecurities on you, wheelchair or not there it is most definetly never okay to abuse someone in any way. Sometimes you have to walk away from love. That doesn't mean you have to stop loving him because we all know you don't pick your feelings and it's not always something you can control. I believe that if someone doesn't care about themself they can't truly care about their significant other for the simple fact that their significant other is with them because they care about them and if they cared about the person they would have to care about themselves to a certain extent. This doesn't mean that they will have an extroardinary amount of self-confidence but rather that they will not be in a self-destructive mind set since the person they say they care about cares about them and part of caring about someone is not wanting to hurt them.

he sounds like a mentally abussive idiot hun u really do not need that. I know u love him but if he cannot respect u then what type of relationship is that.
be good 2 urself n move on find someone who loves u 4 u n does not treat u this way. he is disabled not because he is in a wheelchair but because he is abusive.

What does "wim" mean? I HOPE it means, way am I , which would tell me that in no way are you believing his trash talk. If he is disrespecting you, don't stay with him. If you do, it sends a clear signal to him, but more importantly, it sends a signal to your pysche that abuse is okay. Please don't think that staying with him for love, is reasonable. I believe it is an excuse...you don't think you can make it without him, I bet. You think that this is the real thing. Well, it doesn't sound like HE thinks so. Your self respect is a valuable commodity. Please don't toss it in the trash bin.

Sounds like he needs a little space. Better give it to him, and see how things go. This might be hard, but a little self-discipline on your part may go a long way towards making him realize that he loves you, too, and if it doesn't, maybe the space will give you perspective on where you want this relationship to go.

then how can it work if he wont talk to u?? break it off that kind of abuse is dumb and u are stupid if u stay with him. sry but ne one in an abusive relationship weather it be phisical emotional or verbal needs to leave.

Perhaps his being in a wheelchair is clouding his judgement. Is he shumming you because he wants you to find someone "whole"? Tell him how his words are hurting you.
