Probably Da Vinci, because although Michaelangelo may have been a better painter, Da Vinci was prepared to use his skill over a wider range of areas and projects.
Even within art, per se, he was more prepared to experiment and explore - especially the world of human anatomy.
... Plus his work seemed to emanate more detail and genius.

Norman Rockwell, easily. Then Paul Kidby, then Da Vinci. After that, all the Renaissance guys look the same.
