The dress IS off of Ebay and the seller is from China. I don't think that hearing from someone who has talked to a FEW people that had bad experiences is going to deter me from buying my dress there. Besides, it more than likely wasn't the seller I am doing business with. They have over 500 feedbacks and only 6 of them are negative, and those were from bad customers.

They make any problems right if there are any, and they offer refunds. Besides, a wedding dress for $150 is a HUGE bargain in my book, even if it needs altering!! These high-end designers ought to lower the prices if they want more people to buy their products. Does a simple wedding dress really cost thousands of dollars to make, including the time that it takes to make it? I don't think so. It's a TOTAL rip-off.

Hey, if I don't like the dresses, I will just get something else. I HAD to go for it, with the feedback score and the SUPER-LOW price.

And besides, life's NO FUN if you don't take chances!!

Well, the description for the 1st dress says it needs a 3 hoop bridal crinoline (they display a link), and the 2nd dress says it needs a bridal crinoline. If you have the time, I'd order the dress, then get it and try it on. Any bridal store (if there's a David's Bridal near you--try them) should be able to get you a crinoline. Also, bear in mind you're going to probably have to have the dress altered, so you'll need to start looking for a seamstress who is comfortable altering wedding gowns. Best of luck to you!

A full crinoline with either, really it depends on how full you want it, you can do a 2 bone hoop with a crinoline, the hoop will make it more cooler under there. they are being worn more in the last two years, they still might be hard to find. Just remember wedding gown dresses fit TONS smaller than regular dresses. I have had girls who where a size 12 have to by a size 18 wedding gown. especially for domestics so be carefull!! If you are buying from the internet, (which I highly do not reccomend) try similar styles and name brands on at wedding stores. All name brands run differently size wise. If you have any other wedding questions just e-mail me. Good Luck!!

You definitely need a crinoline for both gowns. The gowns won't hang right, the skirt won't look as full. You can get a crinoline at any bridal shop. I think I spent $50 two years ago for one, can't remember the exact price. If you're taking votes, I like the first one better, I love the laced corseted back look. As for alterations, you will need them no matter where you get your gown and they can be expensive so be prepared. You could go the finest bridal salon in the country and the gowns are still going to need be altered, unless you're the model that they designed the dress around. Good luck.

Just thought I would tell you that I got my dress off e-bay. Loved it! I was a little weary about those ones from China though. You can find some great deals in Canada and US that are warehouse dresses.

Oh, regarding the skirt. You won't really know until you have the dress. Buy the one you love first and then take it to a local store and try it on with different under skirts and also veils. Make sure your hair and makeup is done and you wear high healed shoes.

Good Luck! Have Fun!

I would say they both could use crinoline. The hoops are gone with the 80's.
I would be more concerned if I were ordering a dress from China. It sounds like you are asking for trouble by doing that.
A wedding gown is NOT something that is worth taking a chance on.

You need a petticoat and you can get one at any bridal shop. Take the dress in and try it on you cant just guess without having the dress on. Any bridal specialist will help you.
