He's older, but not wiser. Since he won't ease up on talking to his ex, then you have to ask yourself how you want to deal with it. Is he so important to you that you can get over this and allow him his freedom? Or do you deserve to be treated better, and realize that it just might be better to be alone than to be with someone who makes you feel lonely? Good luck.

Move on. No one needs to be in a relationship where one party abuses (Verbally, mentally or physically) the other party.
Moving on may be hard, but in the long run it is the best thing for your own mental health.
I don't knowhow much older than you, but a large age difference can be a problem later in the relationship.
As the old saying goes, there are many fish in the sea.

If he is a lot older than you and you are whining a lot about his talking to his ex, you are making him see you as more of a spoiled child than a girlfriend.
If you want him, then back off from the drama. If he wants you he will stay with you no matter how much he talks to his ex. But nagging him is a sure fire way to have him drop you.

You need to dump him and move on cuz he ain't over his ex girlfriend and the more time he spends with her, his old feelings will comeback and he'll remember how much he loves her, so save urself now and leave this relationship...better sooner than later.

You should drop that zero and get yourself a hero.
(ohhh!!!)
Look, *u** carrots. Punch him in the jaw, and say, "If you love talking to your ex so much, why don't you just run back to her!?"
Also, I don't know the age gap. For all I know, you're twelve and he's thirty-five. If so, uh... call 911.

Break it off, he shouldn't get so mad over a question, and you shouldn't have to worry about him feeling for another. Find someone better.
