I know i'm fat but I do some sit ups n stuff, it makes my abs stronger i know that, but does it speed my motabolism if im still fat????

Exercise like that doesn't always speed up metabolism. There are a few things you can do to speed up your metabolism. First of all if you eat 4-5 small meals instead of 3 large ones. That will spike your metabolism each time you eat and make sure that each meal is about 2-3 hours apart. Another thing you can do is more aerobic exercise. Movement will help burn calories and get you hungry and speed up the metabolism. Some supplements have been shown to do the same. Green tea is one. Building muscle will not always speed up metabolism. However, it is good to do because it will burn more calories while you are idle. For instance if you have a lb of fat and a lb of muscle, not only will that lb of muscle be smaller than the fat, but it will also burn more calories. Not exactly metabolism speeding but if your goal is to loose weight then this is a good thing. Just make sure you do weight training and cardio.

YES!!I AGREE,your mota-mooti-mata-excuse me,(I have a frog in my throat,aaagg,ueghh,)sorry,I'm back,yes where were we?Ah motabolism,well,yes it's true-sitting up is very good for you,especially when you wish to drink out of a cup or glass,it's bound to improve your ability to sit-up!As for speed,well,if you use an electric blanket(underblanket),after having scrunched it up a lot,perhap's jumping(not too vigorously mind)on it to at least break some of the circuits,place it under your bedsheets,it will work wonders when connected to the mains supply in making you sit up faster,your'e bound to loss more fat vigorously,maybe even all of it.Your next option is to use the UR diet,the details of which are contained within these pages,millions of IRAQI'S attest to the effectiveness of this diet!

Exercise does speed your metabolism; so does eating. Eat the right things and exercise regularly and your metabolism will achieve a healthy rate and burn fat even when you're not exercising.

Metabolism is sped up by aerobic exercises as well as muscle toning types of exercises= both are needed along with a healthy diet.

if you wanna raise your metabolism, you have to eat six times a day. Three small meals and three small snacks. You should include fruits, vegetables, protein, milk and whole grains. When you it do it in portions, you can do this by using small plates to eat. Drink lot of water and excersice.

i just read in a cosmo magazine that fat people have a faster metabolism...i dont kno why or how though, but i do know that exercise speeds up your metabolism

I don't think you're supposed to be eating meatloaf while doing sit ups, you might choke.
