You try having searing pain in your abdomen, lower back and legs so severe you sometimes cannot stand up straight, or migraine headaches that nearly blind you with pain, or bleeding from your uterus at such a gushing rate you can't move without overflowing your pad or tampon, or having uncontrollable mood swings that have you ecstatic one moment, depressed another moment and in a full rage the next moment, then add an annoying unsympathetic boyfriend or husband who thinks you're imagining it all or at best over dramatizing it all... and see how YOU would react.....Sounds like your girlfriend needs a new boyfriend...one who's much more patient, compassionate and understanding. We women never asked for all this crap...the least you men can do is be a bit more supportive. Believe me it's no picnic. all we ask is for you not to dismiss us and what we're feeling (And to count your lucky stars you don't have to go through any of it!)

Mine is like that too sometimes! its because they get stressed out and their time of the month causes a lot of hormone changes and things like that. It can alter their personality a whole lot and change their mood from happy to angry in no time. Don't worry, just last out the week and you're good for another month. Good luck brother, I feel ya--

I believe that during a woman's menses she is losing some vital energy due to the bleeding. She probably needs rest. Have you tried nursing her? People who are ill sometimes get irritable. So this is not abnormal.

More likely, her anger stems from the fact she, a woman, has to go through this monthly, miserable and messy "curse", while you, a guy, skate by free and with no worries.
Women can rant on about "natural hormones" causing strange PMS like behavior: it really comes down to they got to go through periods---and they hate us guys for it.
And you got to go through such a monthly thing for three to five days......wouldn't you be crying, too?????
