go to a park and have a picnic... something nice and romantic... and light on the wallet. Save the big bold stuff for the one year anniversary...
What you want to do is a lovely gesture... so go ahead and go through with it. Aybe yall can go to an amusement park... or the zoo... or just dinner and a movie. There are many possabilities out there for a young budding relationship such as yours.

The best of luck and I hope you have a good 4th...

You're planning an anniversary or a monthsary? Either way, I wouldn't plan anything too elaborate for first anniversary or anything before that. Just plan dinner and a movie, or something simple like that. If you know your area well, it may be easier for you to know what there is to do there...the point is, make something you both enjoy doing, but not so elaborate that it distracts from the meaning of the occasion or from each other.

Make up a pic nic basket full of sandwiches and desserts.
Then get a picnic blanket and go to the beach for a quiet alone time.Bring some drinks,i'm not sure how old is legal to drink where you are,but even soda will do.Bring along a candle and a beach blanket and have some fun in the sun.

Being 18 you can register to vote, woohoo! The best thing to do really is just to have fun! It could be doing something big or small. As long as you guys have fun together is what really counts and the reason you are celebrating in the first place. Enjoy!

Just do normal date stuff. Go to the zoo, see a movie, go out to dinner, go for a romantic walk, make sweet sweet lovin'.. lol. You'll find something fun to do. One bf of mine surprised me and carved our initials in a tree and put flowers in the tree branch. Maybe do something like that for him!

What a silly idea to celebrate anniversaries by the month! What are you, married or retired?

Spend more time living and less time overanalyzing and finetooth combing your relationship.
