Why do woman on here want to feel good about themselves by asking what do you think about my body,looks?

I think it is rather sad that some women on here have to ask strangers what they think about their appearance they lack some kind of self asteem and want to feel validated. Why do women do that?

Becuse they may not be getting it anywhere else and they want attention from men that are superficial and don't care about the inside as much as the outside of a person.

Because society has put value on the way a woman looks. The more beautiful she is, the more power she has sexually over a man.

It's like how large a man's penis is to him.
