I get really annoyed at everyone. People in stores, people in parking lots, people at school.. Do I just have anger issues? I never say or do anything rude to people. I'm very polite and nice. In fact I am very non confrontational. So why does nearly every person drive me crazy??????

You have major issues with thinking other people are below you. YOu need to realize that they are not upset and not stressing over things. Why should you be in a bad mood over something they have done without realizing they are making you upset...you will die at an early age unless you learn to deal with your anger.

I used to "hate" people a lot too. Turns out I have ADHD and loud noises, bright lights, crowded places, cluttered situataions and et. al. were actually overwhlemning my system, I was irritated and annoyed and I somehow connected it to the people in the environment cause well, I don't know. I am also introverted, and people stress me out until I know them, anxiety comes out as , I'll say rather than hate, not likeing. THe other thing that comes to mind is your fanmily or past (arg, doesn't that come up all the time?). Were you abused or neglected or just generally had problems with your family? Counseling mihgt help, even if its just a school counselor.

Because people can be really annoying and stupid. Many people are egocentric and only think about their own feelings and not those of the people around them. I am like you and do not tell a rude person what I really think of them. The reason I don't is that I am polite and was taught manners as a child. I may be smiling and saying, "Have a nice day", but am saying, "You f**king a*sh*le" in my head.

It's probably something you learned early on in life. May it be conscious or subconsciously, you've learned to be short tempered with people.
Or it could be that you're just surrounded by morons....lol.

Have you ever heard the saying: "You can't be an Eagle if you're hanging with turkeys?" lol. Try finding people you enjoy hanging with and may be you'll find less things to be annoyed about when hangin with others.
Practice makes perfect and besides, it probably would be good for your blood pressure. Life is to short to be annoyed all the time.

Have a good life and have fun living.

Hmm..looks like you have a severe and dangerous mental case which you need to get cleared up right away...just kidding.

Everyone gets annoyed at people, some more then others, and its better to keep it in like you do, unlike others who act lke a total snob. Sometimes we hate people for the most dumbest reasons , like the color shirt there wearing, when we hardly even know them. My advice would be to be humble. Try to look at the world with a different perpective. Don't degrade others, or down on people who may be different or lower then you. Just remember that these people are just people , like you. Who knows how many people look at you on the streets or at the mall and what they think of you. If you try to make yourself a better person, you start looking at things and "people" differently.

possibly because you are overly nice and do not confront some one who has done something that deservrs to be confronted and you might be a bit shy or uncofortable with confronting them . Popoe might notice you are noncopnfrontational by your" body language "
70 % of our comunication is non verbal and pople might see you as a "east traget" and take advantage of you. This might make you dislike pople espcailly if yopu are non confrontational and overly nice . Ther is some truth in the saying nice guys finish last .

Because people suck. Try beating on a heavy bag (not a fat girl) to let some of that anger out, and for a personal treat watch a rerun of Anger Management. Jack Nicholson wasn't all wrong.

You might have a social phobia. Some people feel inadequate in social situations for various reasons. Also, (don't take this as an insult) you probably do not feel comfortable in your own skin and are projecting your feelings of anxiety, insecurity, or inadequacy on to others. I suggest that you begin to build your self-esteem. Then, you'll eventually feel good about yourself and inevitably your perception of others will improve. We see what we want to see.

Good question and I think we all agree that most people suck for one reason or another or at one time or another. It is usually not the people around you so much as it is the state of mind you are in at the time so take a good look at what mood you are in the next time you feel that way, it may be you not them!

i am the exact same way. its not that i feel im better but that im not as annoying as other people. people in this world are so ignorant and rude and we are around alot of these people everyday. you dont have anger issues. and if you do then half the damn world does because half of us are intelligent and courteous while the other half is ignorant and rude.
