How many of you ladies, while at work and at your desk, slip your feet out of your shoes completely during your working day? And if you do slip your shoes off, do you do it because it's comfortable or is a habit you've formed? How often do you slip them off?

I do! I'll even walk around the office with no shoes...like to the printer or copier sometimes. I do it because my feet get hot and it's more comfortable for the way I sit in my chair.

I do while my feet are under the desk. Pretty much whenever I'm sitting down, the shoes come off. :) I do it because it's comfortable, and sometimes because my feet are hot and I just need to take the shoes off. I'd never get up and walk around without shoes though. I work in a professional office, and I'm pretty sure this would be frowned upon.

I don't work in an office, but at my church, I work with the small children(18 months-3 yrs), and as soon as I walk in, I'm kicking off my shoes... it makes it easier to work with the kids, and it's definitely more comfortable.

I often have to stand, holding a sad little boy or girl, and when I've got that extra weight, I don't like being in shoes that are uncomfortable and make me less stable.

If I worked at an office, it would depend on if I sat at my desk all the time or if I was up getting files, etc often.... If I were doing a task that I know I'm going to be there a while with no interruptions, sure- kick those uncomfortable suckers off!!

Why are you asking about women and shoes? I used to work in a dealership with 20 men and almost all of them slipped off their shoes under their desks when they had the chance. Women like men like to be comfortable and everybody's feet get tired and ache in dress shoes.

I wear very comfortable running shoes to work, and I use a foot rest that is a bit hard on my feet when I'm not in my shoes (but it helps my back), so I don't slip my shoes off.

I wear sandals during summer and just step out of them. I have a foot rest under my desk or if I am busy, I shut my door and walk around in my office. I winter I wear clogs and do the same thing, just slip out of them. If I am wearing pumps, dress shoes or boots, I keep them on. I will not wear shoes that are not comfortable, so I guess I do it out of habit because when I go home, the shoes are the first thing to go.

I slip my feet out of my shoes during a working day about 3 times. I do it because while sitting at a computer all day, my feet get tired and hot.
It helps the circulation also.

I slip my shoes off all the time; it's comfortable, and I don't care who sees my feet.

Yes, because I generally wear heels to work, I prefer to take my shoes off. If I have to meet with clients I put my shoes back on.
