The same reason why ANYONE has sex with their spouses, or strangers, or objects, or unspeakables.... It all stems from the same reasons... Hormones,Desire and Lust.
The moral aspect comes from culture, beliefs and societal norms.

We don't have sex with people that don't belong to us. (Because no one owns anyone) we tend to have sex when we are attracted to some one for some reason or another. Rather it be for physical attraction, or mental stimulation, or LUST! You have to decipher what the motive is for wanting to have intercourse.
And will you regret this decision afterwards. Some people tend not to let brash decisions bother them, on the outside, but their kicking themselves in the worse way mentally. What ever you choose to do be safe.

What "we" are you talking about? Are you schizophrenic? No one really "belongs" to anyone (unless you're a slave and I strongly believe that slavery anywhere in the world is wrong). Are you referring to people who are married and are unfaithful? Or people who are unfaithful in their current relationship? I think some people just don't understand commitment or just don't care enough. Perhaps they're unsatisfied with their partner sexually, so they look elsewhere to be satisfied instead of communicating with their partner. I'm not one of those people, so I can only guess.

no one in the world belongs to you, you are the only person you can own, you dont own your wife or your children, people have sex with other people because they are bored, they are addicted to sex, they feel inadequate and need some way to feel noticed. and likely many other reasons.

No one owns anyone else but if you mean have sex with people we are not in a relationship with or that are in a relationship with someone else then I guess it is because we want the sex and that is all we are wanting from that person.
