The first thing most people jump up and down with is “GW is just protecting us so it’s OK for him to kill innocent men, women and children. Look at 9/11 and how they tried to kill us.”

Well here’s some facts for those who think it’s OK to murder innocent men, women and children in the name of God. G W Bush said he prayed to God and God told him to invade Iraq, although the evidence has proven quite conclusively that Iraq had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11.

So who’s guilty of murdering all those innocent men women and children, God who told GW to invade Iraq, or G W Bush because he followed God’s advice? Why do you allow your leader and God to commit murder? Why do you do nothing about it, but just make excuses for God and GW. How caring and religious is that?

Right on, tell it like it is !!

Who can stop Bush? Why hasn't he been impeached?

The country thought it was a terrible thing about Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky and they tried to impeach Bill.

So Bush got in (remember the fiasco with the election results, particularly in brother Jeb's state? It's awfully funny how it all worked out OK, isn't it?). And then he won the second election, which is just as crazy.

And now the middle east is in a total mess. The Iraq war is a huge embarrassment to America. Americans who voted for Bush should be ashamed of themselves for putting him in power when so many people are being murdered because he sent in the troops a) without the United Nations consent and b) on the pretense of wanting to find weapons of mass destruction -- which he knew never existed !!

And yet the Christians still say that they would rather have him instead of a liberal "ungodly" leader.

WHERE IS THE SENSE? There is none! The people who voted for him are all guilty of crimes against humanity -- and if they hide behind their church doors, and if the Bible is true, then I would not want to be in their shoes to stand before God during White Throne Judgement.

Where were you when terrorist flew planes full of innocent people into two buildings in New York killing all the innocent people in the planes and the buildings? And where were you when Bin Laden from IRAQ took credit for these atrocities. God doesn't enter into this, he is not responsible for these things. Humans are responsible for these things. Unfortunately the nature of war is that innocent people, women, children, men old and young die when someone starts a war. Bush made a firm stand against these terrorist and told them, not on our soil. If you live in a country that wants to get into a battle with another country and draws first blood by a planned attack on that country you need to prepare for the fallout.
Here's a thought, Clinton knew ahead of time that there was a very real danger of this happening, he was too busy sticking his cigars up some interns vagina to give a damn about what was happening to the country. Go ask your questions about politics on the politics site Brenda.
Thank you Brother Micha.

See - the whole reason why people shouldn't kill is because it's God's job, and He doesn't want to share it with everybody - only with His chosen servants. When God takes life it's OK because He gave it on the first place and can take it back whenever it pleases Him. When people do it with His blessing it's also OK because He knows better and, like a good Boss, can delegate. When we do it without His blessing, though, it's usurping His rights, and He hates that. So the trick is to know whether somebody has His blessing or not. But that we can never know for sure, because God never speaks to us directly - He mostly uses indirect means for communication, like his chosen servants, often the same ones to whom He delegates starting wars. Catch-22, if you ask me. That's why you should never even think about such complicated matters but leave it to God, otherwise your poor little brains might just explode and stain your Mom's new white carpet, and she will be mad, and you don't want to have both God and your Mom be made at you in the same time.

"G W Bush said he prayed to God and God told him to invade Iraq,'

Could you provide the source for this "quote"? Otherwise, I tend to think you are making it up simply to bolster your atheistic, liberal agenda. And by your standards, should Franklin Roosevelt be held liable for all the innocent men, women and children who died in Germany during WWII? Should John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson be held accountable for all the innocent men, women and children who died in Viet Nam during their presidency? It's called war, and war is terrible, but people die, that is the cost. How many terrorists attacks have we suffered in the last 5 years? 1. How many in the previous ten? Doing nothing is not an option. By the way, we invaded Iraq because they had repeatedly violated UN mandates, not because W was itching for a war.

Well I can't speak for other Christians here, but as for myself, I don't approve of murder in any form. I certainly am no fan of Bush - never have been. Bush doesn't speak for me and he definitely doesn't speak for God, especially since we're told in the Bible NOT to carry out vengeance ourselves (Romans 12:19 - "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."). To paraphrase for those a little slow on the uptake, "God says, 'Stand back. Let Me handle this.'" So contrary to what you're implying, if anybody is murdering innocent men, women and children, then that's all Bush's doing, not God's.

The fact is he lied to his entire country about the WMD and Iraq's involvement (among countless other things, I'm sure) to get us Americans to go along with his invasion plans (mainly to get back at Saddam who threatened to kill his father). To me, that is proof that his actions are blasphemous and he is in no way, shape or form practicing Christian values.

Bush never said that God told him to invade Iraq. You'll never learn anything until you learn honesty. You have deceived yourself.

Our military expends a lot of time and effort to try to avoid killing civilians, but it is still war. The difference is that we are not targeting civilians. The enemy on the other hand is so cowardly that they hide behind their women's skirts, they intentionally try to get us to fire on areas that have women and children. It is good for their propaganda and in case you hadn't noticed, they don't care much about human life. Gullible people like you eat it up and really are more helpful to the enemy than to America.

I'm a christian, and I kind of take offense to your question. I feel like you're looking for someone to blame for death and murder, and your target scapegoat is ALL christians. Why would it be my fault that George Bush chose to go to war? Bush is in control of making his own decisions, not me. Just because Bush may be christian doesn't mean all christians agree with Bush's choice on war. As for God, he's in control of who dies or not, christians don't TELL him to do anything, people are born, they live, and then they die, it's just L-I-F-E we can't explain it, and maybe that's because it's not meant for us to know. So to make myself clear, I think it's unfair to blame me of allowing George and God to commit murder, I don't "allow" them to do anything, they make the choices, not me, all I can do is help those who need help, and do good for others, how does that make me guilty of murder?!? Oh by the way, how do you get God being guilty of murder because BUSH decided to go to Iraq for war? God didn't say to kill anybody, did he, no. I think you need to do a little research, Bush was trying to help Iraq...never mind, it's pretty pointless talking to a brick wall, AKA someone who's close minded, and has one-sided views on everything... I'll just make sure to pray for you tonight, and for your peace in mind.

I know you're searching for an answer, and you want to know why there are murders, but blaming christians won't solve anything, and it isn't fair, even I, a christian, don't know why people are murdered, that doesn't mean it's my fault.

I agree with you about GW Bush and I can't believe the USA would still keep him in power. His religious beliefs are that the end of the world is coming and I think he would just like to help it along if the USA let him. But USA it's your Bush, your money and your good people that he is using but not any God that I believe in. I just hope that Canada can keep out of it as much as possible but we are losing a lot of good people too over there.
I hate wars but I think Bush gets his fun out of them. Just another sick puppy with a lot of money and power!!!!

O no my friend, you have it wrong. God loves death. He encourages people to kill in his name! If you look in the Bible, there are an amazing number of people that God wants his followers to murder. For example, in Exodus 35:2 God lays down this commandment:

For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Think about that how many people work on the Sabbath -- all the employees of Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Home Depot, Linnens & things, grocery stores, convenience stores, power plants, airlines, hospitals, emergency services and on and on and on. Don't rabbis, priests and preachers work on the Sabbath? God wants all of them dead.

Then look at Deut 21:18-21. It says:

If someone has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey his father and mother, who does not heed them when they discipline him, then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his town at the gate of that place. They shall say to the elders of his town, ‘This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a glutton and a drunkard.’ Then all the men of the town shall stone him to death. So you shall purge the evil from your midst; and all Israel will hear, and be afraid.

That is a whole lot of teenagers that we need to kill.

Then there is Leviticus 20:13:

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them.

All homosexuals need to be killed. What about this:

If a man commits adultery with the wife of his neighbour, both the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.

That's a lot of people who need to be killed.

In other words, if we actually listened to what God says, we would need to kill at least half of the people in America tomorrow. After all, Isaiah 40:8 says, "The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand for ever." The word of the Lord tells us to kill half of the U.S. population.

There are two things in this that show you that God is imaginary. First there is the utter stupidity of these verses. Second, there is this fact: If God is an all-powerful being, he would kill them himself. There would be no need for people to do the murdering. These people would already be dead, and Wal-Mart would be closed on the Sabbath through lack of employees.

Notice that believers completely ignore these parts of the Bible. That is because they know that the verses are insane. By acknowledging that their God is insane, they prove that their God is imaginary.

It ain't the parts of the Bible that I can't understand that bother me,
it is the parts that I do understand.

"Murder" is to kill without justification. If a person committs a crime punishable by death in a state that has the death penalty than the idiot did it to himself. God never murders, even if we dont think His reasons are just, we will never be HIS judge. Bush is hardly a model Christian btw.
