No, because there are still different factions that hate each other, like the Shiites and the Sunis; everyone hates the Palestinians (including all the arabic countries..they just back their desire to erase Israel).
Then you have the extreme fundy groups who think most muslim countries aren't religious enough, so they keep trying to take control (like in Afghanistan).
Plus it appears to be human nature, for males to perpetually need and want to dominate others. As long as there are natural resources or financial gain to be had, someone is going to want what someone else has.
That area has never been at peace, no reason to believe that will change.

If the Jews were gone, there would still be fighting.Basically the region is still tribal in nature. For example Saudi Arabia is governed by the House of Saud (as in Saudi).Saddam Hussein's full name is Saddam Hussein al-Tikriti(from the town of Tikrit).
The same could be said of the Native Americans here. The difference being the "white man" ,as he grew stronger and stronger, the tribes fought each other less and less.Turning to fight the white man instead. But eventually being outnumbered, they lost.No longer fighting each other and then no longer fighting the white man.Peace came because one side lost.
In the Middle East however, the Jews don't outnumber the muslims. The muslims believe eventually, they can destroy Israel.Thats how they think peace will be achieved.
But if the Jews were gone, they would be fighting over the land that was Israel.Lebanese vs. Syrians.Palestinians vs.Jordanians.Shiites vs. Sunni.

Yes, the Arabs would still be fighting with each other.
Hatred of Jews is the only thing that unites them.

Let me think here. There are two peoples warring with one another, right? Of course, if you take either of those two peoples out of the picture the warring stops.
No Jews = no war
No muslims= no war
But in the end, whatever groups of people you have, there will be conflict.
people=war

History has taught that the Sunni, Shiites, and Kurds are just as capable of killing each other as they are of fighting others. As long as any cultural differences exist there will be fighting.

Sure there would.
It would just be someone else.
Look at the Far East. North/South Korea North/South Vietnam
Taiwan vs China
It goes on everywhere.

no! there'd be no reason for fighting anymore. if they just stayed in their own country without tying to destroy other peoples homes, there'd be no more war!
to all those who answer this question with bigoted remarks towards muslims--
you guys think muslims are to blame for everything, well, think again. time for you to learn something that will shock you:
find out why WTC was demolished from the inside, and who benefitted from killing thousands that day! hint: not muslims....

The constant anti-semetic remarks like this from Muslims will always be there.
These Muslims are constantly making foolish anti-jewish hate remarks and ought to be ashamed of their behavior.

No the arab people would just fight among themselves, I think. "Me and my cousin against the world. And if that is resolved, me and my brother against my cousin. And if that is resolved, my brother and I will fight each other."
