I just bought a Green cheek conure and I was wondering if there was anyone who could give me a few tips on how to train him not to bite and maybe a few other things

If you have a baby or a juvie, then try to put your hand in the cage... starting with a short peroid of time and then increse the time as the days go by. While you do this talk to your bird in a "nice" and loving tone. After a while try to put your finger up on its tummy and push up. This will case the bird to get on your finger. As you do this say "Up!". This is a really slow process. Repeat then as the days go by put the cage in a quiet room, with all doors, windows, and closets locked. Then make the bird go on your finger and try to take it out of the cage. Offer toys outside of the cage to make the bird feel comfortable.

Clipping the birds feathers also helps in taming. My pet shop clipps my birds feathers for free. Do some research and use lots of patientce.

Clipping feathers do not help tame birds.

I have 2 parrots, one with full wings, and one with clipped, and the clipped one is the one that was the biter.

Main reason birds bite is that whatever your doing, they don't want you to do at that time.

First key is to make it seem like them biting you has no effect which in turn makes no reason to bite since it didn't get what it wanted. If they bite and you quickly pull your hand away, than it will associate biting with getting what it wants. Gloves may want to be worn. Using words to associate with behaviors that you don't want such as the word No also helps taming.
