I see this same woman every summer and hang out with her for the two weeks that we have the time shares for, and now that I'm home and can't see her anymore I feel distraught and dejected. I think about her from time to time throughout the year. How come i feel so atrabilious and like there is a hole in me, and why i close my eyes without seeing her face.

Sometimes we form fantasies about someone that subconsciously we don't really want or even think we could get if we tried to attract them to us. The reason is that it's safer for our hearts. How can they hurt us if they aren't given the chance? We build up a whole love scenario with them and it sure seems real, but all it will ever be is fantasy.
Why did I write that in answer to your question? Because you see her for those two weeks but you aren't taking it any further than thinking about her. Ask yourself why. Be brutally honest with yourself.
There's nothing wrong with a fantasy as long as it doesn't become obsessively intrusive into your real life to the point where it's causing you problems.

Well, that must mean you still like her!! I know how you feel though, I was able to see this one guy for a whole year, and we didn't talk very much because he was shy. Then I moved away and I miss him even though he was shy around me. Maybe you ought to give her a call, or find a new girl to like. It's hard to get over a past crush, but you can do it if you are supposed to find someone else.

I think u feel that way simply because u miss her and u miss having her around. u been around her so much and its became a routine that u see her every summer u just need to see her again

everyone gets this feeling during their lifetime it may be strong or not and it may go away but it feels good to get it......dont fear it go with it and if it doesnt work at least you tried
