It's an incredible con job when you think about it, to believe something now in exchange for something after death. Even corporations with their reward systems don't try to make it posthumous.

Everyone fears dying at least a little bit because then whatever is out there, it surely means its and end to what is here. People can believe all they want that there is nothing after this life but in the back of their minds lies the "what if there is and I got it wrong?"

People can believe they are saved all they wants but they have to consider in their minds sometimes "what if Im wrong?"

Anyone who says they never think such things is a liar.

I don't fear death. However, I don't look forward to it just yet because I still have family that is not saved. If everyone I knew was, then I would totally look forward to it. However, I want many more to be saved so if I'm dead then I don't have the chance to save them anymore. So if they do get saved, it'll be by the grace of God.

No, I don't fear dying and at times look forward to it.

I'm an atheist and have those feelings. It seems to me if people who believe in heaven really believed what they claimed, they would be seeking ways to end this life as soon as possible.

God doesn't want us to seek a way to end life, because our life on this earth is a gift from him. I do look forward to dying and going to heaven, but we are also fearful of death because we are afraid of pain/suffering in death. Death itself shoudn't be feared.

I fear dying, I fear the pain of my loved ones suffering as I will if they die before I, I don't want to experience that but I know I will. Death itself I don't fear. being born I remember fear.

fear of death is a natural body emotion and has no relation to religion. religion is for ignorant people who don't want to see the world as it is. they're more willing to be told what to believe, than to learn what the world is all about.

I do not fear death, but I also have no desire to exit this world prior to the time which God has chosen. There's still work to be done.
