Suggest if showering with others is a problem, then the military may not be a good choice for you.

I have showered in the open fields, and gone several days with out showering. Try that on for size, sleeping in a tent with 15 to 20 people who have not had a bath in several days. I am sure you would shower with other women, with other men or with the dogs if you have the chance.......

Yep, but you really don't have time to worry about that. You get about 30 seconds to shower. That's not enough time to be modest. But they do have doors on the toilet stalls (I remember that being a big concern for me when I enlisted.)

And there is no such thing as National Guard boot camp. Everyone in the Army, whether active duty, reserve or national guard go to the same boot camp.

There isn't a National Guard Boot Camp, you go to the same one as everyone else. And yes, community showers. Heck, in USMC boot camp there are no doors on the toilet stalls.

**** when I was at FT Jackson they threatened to take the toilet stalls away, and leave us with the commode. You get over being squeamish about showering with 20 other women present rather quickly. After the first couple of days you won't notice. You get very economic in your showering skills.

Yes, but it depends on when your barracks were built as to the level of privacy you have while taking it. Most barracks now have private toilets, vs the open bay style and some of the showers have walls in between to offer abit of privacy.
