Well, my family and I got in an argument about how God does love all kinds of people even homosexuals-as long as they follow in his word or guidelines, although are gay (because they are attracted to their same gender sexually etc. ) they don't have intercourse with the same sex, or even kiss-because they know it's wrong. But, my family says that no matter what, God doesn't love them, because they are homosexuals. If you know a passage in the bibile that says God loves all kinds of people, or the guidelines that he permits of people who feel different-it'd be great if you could tell me, I want to prove them wrong. Someone in my speech class had the passage about God loving homosexuals as long as they follow the guidelines, because he was pro-gay and was debating about it and used the bible (the passage) for his argument.

Jesus loves all people, Jesus does not accept sin, this is the point, people he loves as sinners, but once we receive Him as Savior, He changes us slowly, He is the only one able to take that lifestyle away from people that have walked that path. He knows why they do and he knows what it will take to change it and He has no problem doing just that if....given the chance and someone must want the change, no one is born that way, this is sin, but God takes and changes the outside and the inside, the heart first, then areas that show...even sexual situations like practicing different lifestyles. Check with RBC ministries out there for info that can help as far as scriptures...God never fails, others have been changed....God is good.

God loves everyone according to the Bible no matter how much a person sins, so yes. Besides, does the Bible also say "He who has not sin cast the first stone." Funny how people want to ignore certain parts of the Bible huh?
P.S. I don't really think being Gay is wrong anyway.

Your family is narrow minded. God loves ALL people, just doesn't like the sin. Ask your family the same question but instead of homosexual, put in adultery, murderers, gossipers, etc. (Romans 1:26-30), see what they say then.

The Bible speaks of homosexual males only 12 times, four times about the woman. How many times does the Bible speak on Adultery?

It is God's will that ALL come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ- not all but the homosexual, not all but the murderer, liar, theif , etc. we come to Him as we are and as long as we have a heart of repentence and are committed to obedience, He will sanctify us from there. I do not believe that He created anyone to be homosexual, I believe the lifestyle is wrong but because of sin in the world, it is like a cancer that dwells within the flesh- Whatever state a person is in, they can come to the Lord and He will bring healing, and deliverance. I believe that if someone truly wants it, knowing that to God the acts of homosexuality are an abomination that they can come to Him and no longer be a homosexual. I know that God loves all, but I do have a problem with the scenario where a person would come to the Lord and after 5 , 10 years still walk around saying "I am a homosexual" knowing that the lifestyle is an abomination, why would you claim that, speak it over your life and identify yourself with that. Even if you still had the tendencies and were not engaging in homosexual activities- speaking that and claiming it over yourself is not taking your thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ- you are still engaging in that behavior in your thought life. God makes us new creations and he will deliver us from EVERY manner of sin. So there is a thin line of balance there- we cannot keep claiming God's promises and His covering if we are insistent in justifying our sin and hiding behing God's mercy and love while acting in disobedience. Yes, God loves all, BUT He will NOT tolerate all- He will NEVER make allowance or accept excuse for sin. We are ewither sanctified through the blood of Christ and walking in obedience and sanctification even and especially in our thought life or we are not- there is no middle ground.

I think God loves everyone, even homosexuals.
I know in Bible we can read that this practical is not accepted by God, because of the natural things (men and women), but for me God sees the heart of people, considering the problems, fears, differences, traumas, education and only he knows who is that person.
To love or not homosexuals is more a problem of people, who can´t accept some differences and use some words of God in Bible to keep their preconcept.

1Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Don't stop reading too soon. Verse 11 has a lot to say. Yes, it IS a sin, but it is NOT PERMANENT. It CAN BE FORGIVEN! Those who desire to leave their sin behind them are NOT ALONE.

A lot of times we like to put sin in different categories but to God it is all the same "For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" there isn't a few sins that are worse than others, The thing about sexual sin though, is it is a sin against our own body{fornication included} and it has lasting consequences.

BUT! if someone continues to sin and has no desire to change .They ARE NOT CHRISTIANS and should not be treated as a believer unless they repent

As I recall, God loves all his children, even those that sin.

A loving parent loves their kids but sometimes hates the choices they make or the deeds they commit. My kids could be truly horrible (which they are not) and while I might have to put them out of my life if they presented a danger (like if one was a drug addict or thief), I would still love them. Nothing they do could cause me to stop.

Now...and this is a big problem for me with Christianity (I am Jewish), the church leaders and the bible say God is loving, so loving he gave up his only son to teach humans a lesson (right?).

So...how could a God who loves his children so much as to sacrifice his son, hate any of us???

A lot of Christians forget to use logic and common sense. YOU have the choice to be both a believer and a thinker.
