But I never actually throw up. I don't think this is normal, please help me! I am not pregnet, and I am not gaining any weight, I am 12 years old

You absolutely need to go to a doctor. You may have an infection of some kind and may need medication to get better. If you let this continue to go on and don't go to the doctor, you may cause harm to yourself if it is something serious. Please at least call a doctor first thing Monday morning.

This is likely what is known as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), otherwise known as heartburn. Heartburn is caused from a weak muscle at the base of your esophagus that allows stomach acid to leak up into your throat (esophagus). I would like to know if you feel nauseated, or you feel like you have a pain or burning pressure in your stomach and chest. If you're nauseated then this could still be GERD or it may be a symptom of something more chronic going on. Most likely it is heartburn. Heartburn frequently comes in the following situations:
1. after eating large meals
2. after laying down for long periods, because the stomach acid flows more easily up the esophagus.
3. after eating certain foods like, chocolate, coffee, pop, spicy foods, and some other foods with high caffeine or high acid levels.

To treat:
Avoid those foods above; avoid eating before you go to bed; use an extra pillow to elevate your head slightly at night; talk to your doctor about medications to take.

If not treated this can lead to adverse events down the road.

Sounds like you have indigestion. There could be several causes.Gastric reflux, gastric ulcers, gallbladder infection or gallstones. Most of this could be related to stress. You also could have gas.Try to get your parents to take you to the doc.You need some blood work and maybe an endoscopy, the doc will pass a lighted scope down your throat into your stomach to visualize your intestinal tract. They will put you to sleep and you won't feel a thing.Have you tried some mylanta or Maalox. Are you bowels moving normally,do you eat a lot of junk and fried foods. These could be aggravating factors.Hope this helps

It sounds like heartburn or acid reflux. My little sister had bad heartburn, but only when she woke up, so it's not like just the old guys who eat greasy foods in commercials are the only ones who get it :) You should definitely see a doctor since it's bothering you so much. In the meantime, have you tried Tums or Maalox or something along those lines? Rolaids has these fruit flavored chewable things that don't taste half bad. I know this sounds impossible, but try not to stress too much about it. Stress could be making it worse, making you freak out, making it even worse. It doesn't sound life-threatening, but do go see a doctor.

Do you know if you are swallowing AIR when you eat or drink? You may need someone to watch you to see if you are out of sink in swallowing. A nutritionist can see if you are chewing, swallowing and breathing properly while the food is swallowed. How are your teeth? Dentist check up for teeth and mouth problems? How about molars are they visible?
Also could be starting your female time? Good Luck and hope some of these suggestions can lead to a conclusion. Make a list when you go to the Dr. :-)

I would ask my dad to make an appointment with the doctor.
You shouldn't have to feel this way regardless of why you feel like you are going to throw up. That is a miserable feeling and it shouldn't be discounted. Even if it turns out to be anxiety (which can happen to anyone) something to help can be done.....hang in there and urge your parents to make a doctor's appt.

My first recommendation is to go see a doctor. It could be many different things. I agree with real_witch above.

But at home you might try taking a tablespoon of baking soda, putting it in a glass of water and drinking it. Maybe alka-seltzer if you don't have any baking soda.

Try not stressing. That can cause that problem too.

there are many reason for this to happen. it happens to me everytime i eat anything with lactose in it. the problem is that it can happen inmediatly when you it something with it or it can happen days later. That is way i had this bad feelings for more than three years without knowing why. It can also be ulcers, gastritis and appendicitis; among many things.

The best you can do is to go to a gastroenterologyst.
Hope you feel better soon.

Ask your dad to take you to the doctor. If he won't, go to your school nurse (when school starts again) and explain your situation. Maybe he or she can help, or can convince your dad to take you to get it checked out. It sounds to me like you really could have something that needs attention. (Not anything dangerous, necessarily, but something that you might need medicine for to make you feel better)
