A lot of Irish people are either Catholics or Protestants.
(My Dad is Irish and he was a Catholic growing up).
I think you're probably too dumb to be a Christian.

Because Catholocism is the dominate religion over there. Its a stereotype Im assuming. It is also offensive when you refer to being christian dumb

I have had people think I was Catholic just because I'm Irish. I have an O' maiden name, and most of the O' around here are very Catholic!

Most of Ireland has adopted Catholic Christianity as the national religion. that includes Celtic Christianity as well. and they wrote most of the first christian bibles. forgetting that the first religion in Ireland was Pagan in nature.And believed in trinity Gods/Goddesses

Its the religious crap they have over there. Catholics and Protestants are always messing with each other. You might as well say that Ireland is a Catholic country with a protestant faction. Religion is a whole different thing over there and it seems like everyone over there has religion.
