I heard of dogs doing this, but I've never seen it and I wouldn't know how to train a dog to use a toilet.
I have four dogs, and it would be great if they could use and flush the toilet whenever they need to go out! (-:

You can train a dog to use a toilet (particularly a smaller dog), but
the procedure is not the same as it is with a cat, and it generally takes
much longer.

Its usually easier to provide some sort of mechanism closer to the ground
that disposes of the waste.

As I said, you can do it, but do you really want to spend the next year
training your dog to do this? It may well take that or longer.

yes, but it is very difficult because their paws slip more than cat paws. it is much easier and takes less time to teach them to use a litter box or go outside.

If a stupid cat can do it a dog certainly can.
