"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts they shall heap to themselves teachers, telling them what they want to hear, and their ears shall be turned away from the truth..." (2Tim. 4:3)

Are you one of those helping to show the truthfulness of this Bible prediction? ?

Boy, and how! In fact, we have an online biblical counseling ministry and it's really apologetic in nature. We have seen a huge surge of those who are caught up in false teachings and who have no clue what the Bible really says about things! Amazes me, but yet, it shouldn't. God told us it would be this way.

Also:

ISA 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter.

Gary,
Good observation. The postings of Yahoo answers is just proof of what the Bible says.

Our job is to get the Bible's message, inspite of the ridicule.

Have a nice and restful day.

The morons have not caught on yet that the massive Bang continues to be happening, and if that they had sufficiently efficient telescopes they'd see it for themselves. Nor do the morons understand or comprehend something approximately modern-day cosmology (I guess they won't even quote the 2d regulation in case you held a gun to their head). confident, the Bible is only opinion, and no, there is no evidence that any of the mind-blowing activities of the Bible certainly surpassed off.

Wow, that's amazing.

It's so non-specific that it can apply equally well to people from every generation of humans that has ever lived. There is nothing about the situation it describes which is isolated to the present time.

Yes, this is being fulfilled today. I am following the Bible as God shows me, not as what someone says I should. I am not telling lies about God, simply spreading His Word, truthfully--as it should have been told.

No, I tend to spend my time telling Christians about Christ's love that they spend so much time professing and so little time learning about. I also like to tell the about false prophets.

Having the form of godliness but denying the power thereof...

This has just as much clout concerning the church...

It's always been true. People reason with their dogma, rather than with rational thought.

People listen to what preachers and zealots tell them, rather than reasoning for themselves.
