I like fish tacos with soft shells, beef tacos with crunchy shells, and chicken tacos "in-between"!

You can't eat fish tacos with a crunchy shell, that's just plain illegal.

For the taste, I prefer crunchy, but I usually will eat tacos with soft corn torillas because those are the healthiest.

Depends on the taco and the mood. I love a super crispy one stuffed with grilled chicken, laid over a plate of homemade beans and rice, and I love a soft one dripping with stuff. There's not one better than the other. I also like flour ones sometimes, and corn other times. MMMMM Can't beat homemade tacos though.
