If you don't know - flush it down the toilet. No one can identify a pill by description. And since it obviously was not meant for you, you should not consider taking it.
I would be concerned about a strange pill laying around the house. If there are small children around there could be serious consequences.

the Pill is Amitriptyline. Its an anti depressant, it is also used for nerve pain.

If you don't know for sure, just feed it to your plants. If they grow really big then you will know that it is good for them. If they start start to smile at you, better get another pill. :}
