It could be Cheerios and goldfish to gummy bears and french fries. Why is it so neccessary for these kids to constantly have food before them while they are in a stroller?

The reason why I'm asking is because of all of these reports about childhood obesity. So if these kids are constantly eating...is that good for them?

Parents usually give kids snacks to keep them quiet or occupied. I mean I feel the only reason why there is child obesity is because some parents give into the tantrums and it's usually over junk food. Everyones child is different and parents have there own separate ways of dealing with their kids. Some are weaker then others and some are strong and can stand their ground.

Because it keeps them busy. Which is not a good thing, but a lot of time it might be snack time. Kids eat alot because they are growing.

A child has a very small stomach. They don't eat much. The food is to keep them busy & quiet.

It's good to have a snack handy, you don't have to buy something while you're out nad the kid will not ask you to buy food cause he or she already has something to eat. Also keeps them occupied.
