My first thought is a Mercedes. And then BMW makes some awesome stuff. But, if you really want to get down to some really luxury cars, let's talk Rolls-Royce or Bentley. Ahhhh!! Now THOSE are luxury cars that lincoln town car could NEVER compete with, or even be in the same category. And I used to love lincoln town cars. Oh, and let me tell you something. I used to work for a railroad company, and one night when we were pulling into an Ohio city, and coming around a bend to the left as we approached the railroad yard, suddenly in our headlights was this full-sized car parked head first up against the tracks. By the time we saw it there was NO WAY we could stop, and we were only going 14mph, and so we hit it and completely demolished it. And it was my duty to get off the locomotive to see what car it was and if anyone was in it. And as I was trying to find some insignia or something to tell me what kind of car we hit, suddenly, still attached to the trunk lid, the label Town Car appeared. And the rest of the car was like a crumpled, wadded up, ripped up beer can, much smaller than you see them on the highway.
Why am I telling you this? Because you need to know that no matter how much money you spend on a car, no matter it's size, we railroaders can crumple it up like an empty beer can in a flash, and it won't even hurt the paint job on our locomotive, all at a mere 14mph. Drive carefully. Especially around train tracks. There ain't NOTHIN' we can't crumble and crunch and squash and tear. Do, please, drive carefully. Oh, and there was no one in the car. Later investigations proved that someone stole the car and committed some subsequent crime, and then drove it to the tracks and parked it right there on the bend so we would destroy any evidence. Damn near did it too, but the cops were VERY GOOD at investigating the crime. God Bless you.

Save the money- best investment you can make is investing in your own education. Then consider putting money into a house- houses tend to appreciate over long periods of time (same can not be said of most luxury vehicles!). Stock mutual funds (especially index funds) would be next. (talk to a good cpa or financial planner, 'cause things can get real tricky quick.) I personally buy older hondas/toyotas in mint condition- just picked up a '90 civic with 48,000 miles for $1900. That thing will probably go for another 200,000 miles, and then at the end I can still sell it for at least $500 if it still runs. My favorite luxury vehicle would probably be the bmw M5, which would then be followed by the mercedes benz s550, and then finally the lexus 600h- this will most likely be my new favorite car. i also like the c6 z06 vette, and the porsche cayman s.

For about the same price, I would get the Cadillac DTS. However, if price were no object, I would get the Mercedes Benz CLS55 AMG or the BMW M5.

Which ever is the most expensive (if someone else is paying for it), then I'd trade it in and get a Prius and pay off bills with the rest. If I were paying for it, I'd not get either one but use the money to pay off bills.
