Sounds like a canker sore. It will go away on it's own in about a week. You can help the pain by brushing your teeth and swishing with mouthwash to keep it clean. Get something called Orabase. It'll create a film over the sore to keep it from hurting.

It could be an abscess on your canine, incisor, tooth. Or canker sore. If your tooth is sensitive and painful when you push on it, then its an infection inside the tooth. If its a sore on the outside, then rinse with salt water or get some over the counter meds. for sores.

sounds like a canker sore they are so painful- I had one before , I was drinking alot of "citric" drinks (oj , grapefruit or even lemonade) they only last about 5 days...the first 2 days are the worst, if you rub your tounge on it hard enough it will bring tears to your eyes! When I had mine I didn't kiss my husband (french-kiss) because it hurt soooooo bad and I didn't even want to open my mouth.

It sounds like a canker sore. They are usually caused by too much citrus, stress, or braces. There is medicine at the pharmacy that you can buy to treat it. Kanka is the brand I used when I had braces.
