i have a famale pub dog. it is blinde of the right eye. acording with one of the resent vet i should let her to remove the eye. she said it has high pressure in the eye and tha eventualy it might pop out. i do not want that . i'm looking for a second opinion to see if there is remedy to help my dog not loose it eye.

Pressure in the eye is usually caused by glaucoma. Have your vet refer you to a veterinary opthamologist for further exam. There are drugs available to lower the pressure and help with the pain. If that is not an option, then removing an eye that is blind and causing pain is an excellent idea. They do very well and feel better afterwards. Good luck! :)

Just take her to another vet to get a second opinion. No vet that I know of is going to give advice over the internet without ever seeing the dog. If they do, I wouldn't trust them!
