That's between him and the women he's dating. I look about 15 years younger than I actually am...so it's really kinda amusing when some guy that young hits on me.
I'm real honest about my age, and very proud of it. So, they usually back pedal when I point out to them that I may be a little older than they think.

Honestly, I don't believe there is a "minimum" acceptable age for a women. Love comes in many forms, and ages there are no real "limits" within reason.
If he is attracted to a woman then it would be best to find out if there is a mental compatibility there as well. The only reason I could see as to why he wouldn't be actively seeking love in any age range, would be insecurity.
Just always keep in mind that everybody has their own opinions and set "guidlines" on what is acceptalbe; however, if he doesn't get out there and at least try that could be a rather lonely life. :)

a guy at 40 can ask out anyone over 18, whoever he feels compatible and comfortable with. Look at LL Cool J, he's practically going on 40 and looks 25 and he looks really good. Age ain't nothing but a number.

i say you should go for a girl between the age of 25-40. remember even though you look young you arent and a woman doesnt want to be taking care of you when you are older. thats not an insult by the way, my husband and i have a big age difference and we are very very happy. good luck!!

I am in my 47. I am told that I could pass for much younger. The nunber of young(and I mean young)girls that have come on to me in the last few years is nothing less that mindboggeling. I am still weary of the younger ones, so unless they start something I steer clear. When I say younger I DO mean legal. It's fun and their enthusiasm helps keep me young...but what I would give for a WOMAN to grow old with. The way it is supposed to be. To answer your question 21(and expect people to talk) to 50(and expect people to talk)

I just have to say that that must be one amazing man if he's really 40 and looks likes he's in his mid twenties. As for your question I have no idea I think age doesn't matter as long as both people are happy in the relationship despite the age difference.

Hopefully this guy doesn't ask dates based on their age but on their personality.
I would think he would not want to date anyone younger than 20 or older than 52. Actually, for compatibility, around the same age is very good.
Same songs, same memories to laugh about........commonalities help build a relationship.

as long as he doesn't ask girls out 30 and under. other wise that'd just be wrong. I know many people say that age doesn't matter, well that's for people who's age difference is like 10 years or 12.
But I'm not the one for taboo relationships.

You would'nt want to date someone that was from a different era then you, you would have little in common in the long run. Stay around your own age group to find a long term relationship.

Who says that older women don't like being seen with younger looking men? Date whoever you want.
