He also taught extensively on personal responsibility. The US liberal machine and its cohorts in the press don't think anyone should have to take care of themselves and construct systems which punish those who try to take care of themselves.
Mt 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only those who do what my Father in heaven wants will enter.
Mt 5:27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’ 28 But here is what I tell you. Do not even look at a woman in the wrong way. Anyone who does has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 “If your right eye causes you to sin, poke it out and throw it away. Your eye is only one part of your body. It is better to lose it than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

Jesus was definately a liberal; however, the liberal agenda has changed since then. It's completely different from that of the JFK era as a matter of fact. Once upon a time, they did care about all people and rallied in the streets against genocide and homicidal dictatorships. Now their platform is closer to isolationism.

You mean like, blessed are the meek, turn the other cheek, easier for a rich man to pass through the eye of a needle, render unto Caesar...., suffer the little children..., go into thine own closet and pray secretly, let he who is without sin cast the first stone [or was it get stoned first?] and stuff like that?
No, no, that is all taken out of context, you know. Jesus was a Republican, fer shure.

That proves conservative. Another conservative point is that He stood up for what is right and wasnt afraid of the world. Also He liked children and didnt want to murder them. Wow Jesus pretty much invented the Republican party.

In fact, he probably would be thought of as a communist by today's standards. One of the books of the New Testament (Luke, I believe) has JC telling everyone to go to het their belongings and bring them back. Then he would divide them all up among everyone "according to their needs". The Communist Party later took this as their motto.

He said, "Blessed are the peacemakers," and "Blessed are the merciful." These are liberal concepts.
