Get her to the ER right away, fevers of 107 are serious! Actually, anything over 105 needs to be seen immediately. An adult should never have a fever that high. don't bother trying to do self help, just take her to the ER now.

Sorry, the first time I read it I thought you said that you had the fever .

A cool bath right away! This could be a problem for you because some sick people fight the bath - she may complain and say she is freezing and not want to cooperate! If she does then threaten to call her mum! Also make her drink lots of fluids and take something like Advil or Tylenol. A temp like that can lead to dehydration.

Tylenol is good for fevers -- this may help reduce her temperature. You also need to be applying cold compresses to her forehead, neck, underarms, inner thighs, and behind her knees. You should also probably be calling her doctor -- if her temerature is THAT high, there's a pretty good chance she's dehydrated, and probably malnurished, as well -- in order for the body to heal -- it needs the right tools.

Try tylenol first and if that doesn't break the fever, then try cold bath. If that doesn't work, then get her to the hospital. They have means there to get the temperature down to a more reasonable level.
