This is for the African American women?

I wanted to know what do African American women look for in a man. Because in my relationship I do alot for my girlfriend that most men now a days dont do I cook for her, rub her feet, write her poetry, even though my finances are tight these days I make sure that she has my last dollar, I even eat her best tasting dish(if you know what I mean) anytime she wants me to. My whole life is her I want nor need anyone but her and without her I would have no heart, but I dont think she feels the same way she says she does, but she frequently tries to put me down, she frequently ignores my phone calls, and she tries to make it seem like what I do for her doesent mean anything since I cant give her everything that she wants financially. So I just wanted to know what do black women want in a black man because im desperately trying to please my girl, but the more drama she creates the less I think I can take. It hurts to luv someone but they dont luv you back. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Oh brother!! I feel compelled to tell you.....
it's NOT about what they want but what YOU want. You see some of us, "nice guys" tend to move into the "wussy" syndrome once we get in a relationship. being and doing everything a woman wants won't make her love you more (SERIOUSLY, it's a woman, there's no logic, and yes I think they are crazy too). but anyways, I love women, but there's no logic in them. there's no procedure....
here's what I suggest, DON'T DO everything she wants, give her all she asks for. give and take. you give some, she's got to give some. you're the man, don't let your self be bossied around or manipulated by her. offer some resistance. let her cook for you, treat you like the king you are, do good things for her sometimes, but don't make it a habit. don't make her feel special ALL of the time, just SOME of the time. and if she can't accept, take a break before she gives you one, and watch her running back. And if she doesn't.... get over and start looking for a more deserving woman.

The problem is that men decide to give their all (i.e. what you are doing for your young lady) to the wrong women. You b*tch and moan about how they treat you wrong, but I am sure the signs were there in the beginning that she was about the wrong things. Men think with there little head when making decisions for their heart. Then when a real woman comes your way, she will get dogged. So instead of heeding the warnings that I am sure were there, you keep going with this woman even though all signs were telling you to move on. Why? Only you can answer that. The only advise I can give you is to use your Bigger Head. You seem like a smart guy. Act like it.
