we had a great relationship and one day he say Im moving away to be closer to my son, and leaves. I didnt chase him I let him go.

I think it means he doesn't love you and is looking for an easy out instead of just admitting that its just not there. It sounds like he loves you just as a friend and nothing more.

forgive me for being so blunt ,however if a question like that comes along then he never loved you to begin with I am 41 years old and there are different kinds of love .

funny ,
outgoing.
ect,
ect,
some guys like or love different things in a person..

What part of what he said didn't you understand? Sounds like he made it fairly clear to me. He didn't love you as much as you loved him.
