Why not write one yourself? It will be that much more meaningful.
If you're no good at writing poems, how bout a letter describing the event and everyone's reactions? That might come out more sincere.
Congratulations. You have lots to catch up on after 42 years!
Good luck with the poem.

Talk from the heart and everything else will follow.
There are probably a lot of emotions after 42 years and just put those emotions and feelings into words.
I'm sure it will be beautiful and well received by the recipient.

Hi
Do a search on the Internet. But some of the best 'feel good' poems come from Edgar Allan Poe.
Best Regards

I want to create a business of creating personalized poetry or saying for people. would you be interested in having one created for you by me? How much time would you need? I hope that these feelings are positive and you are happy about this occasion....I am serious about my business. if you like I just ask that you say so via link on web page I am creating. Seriously......

I'm sorry we left you in the park
standing by the swingset, all alone,
The day got late, the sky grew dark,
We forgot about you til we got home.
I wanted to drive back to give you a ride,
But Mother said we would tomorrow.
As weeks passed, we assumed you died,
Sorry for all your sorrow.

A poem would be nice if you wrote it yourself but what if you just write a simple note to express yout feelings?

Nothing like writing your own stuff. After all, all the people who's gonna hear or read it are your loved ones, not a publisher or a literary agent.

lemme write that poem for you.
for the last forty-two years we were searching for you,
up and down, but couldn't find you at all,
for the last forty-two years we were missing you,
every method we tried, but there's no sign of you at all,
for the last forty-two years where the hell could you be?
we thought we could never see you again,
for the last forty-two years, you could have make it forty-three!
but we are glad to finally see you again...

You've been gone for 42yrs, but now you're back at home
Go away for 42 more, and leave us the hell alone!
