Good old fashioned Armegeddon predictions, like mom used to make. I don't think anything is going to happen in my lifetime, but I sure do wish Jeebus would come and take the jeebusfreaks away, quickly, and quietly into the night.....or tonight.

I am a Christian but I do not find your ramblings offensive. Although Jesus was well documented you may consider Him a myth. Your option. I have no idea when the Lord is to return, it states in the Holy Bible: No man knows the hour except the Father in heaven. I am not one that knows the total mind of God. Just like you I live my life from day to day. I have one up on you though, my life is peaceful, full of love and warmth. Of course I have my problems but the longer I walk with the Lord the less they seem to be. I have learned along the way what the meaning of faith is. Of course this is all falling on deaf ears for I am a loser and dumb. I am glad you have learned to ask a polite question, is this the way Atheists ask questions. If it is I will stay in my ignorance forever thank you. People like you show me the reason why I trust in Jesus more each day. I am so thankful for you. Thank you very much for showing me why I need Jesus love, compassion, peace and truth.

First of all Jesus is not a myth but you do make a point about the word "soon". Most Christian's don't focus on the context of original audience. For example, the apostle John wrote in Revelation 1:1 that the events he was writing about would soon take place. As long as Christians keep looking forward to Jesus' 2nd coming they will be incorrect because He returned in judgment when old covenant Jerusalem and it's temple were destroyed in 70AD.

I consider persons can feel it. Things are becoming worse and worse global and it has to finish. As for Jesus returning, good, he's going to be the following Pope. This is how you'll recognize he is honestly the Antichrist. Because it's foretold earlier than the time and it is within the Bible if you'll be able to however see it. While nobody is aware of the targeted day or the hour whilst the Son will go back considering handiest God does, because the time get near, his fans may have an overly well proposal, from the timing in Daniel, of the month and season. So his fans will carry up their heads considering their redemption attracts close.

Some verses just for you:
2Pe 3:3 first, knowing this, that during the last days scoffers will come walking according to their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For from which time the fathers fell asleep, all things remain so from the beginning of creation.
2Pe 3:5 For this is hidden from them by their willing it so, that heavens were of old, and earth by water, and through water, having subsisted by the Word of God,
2Pe 3:6 through which the world which then was, being flooded by water, perished.
2Pe 3:7 But the heavens and the earth now, having been stored up by the same Word, are being kept for fire to a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
2Pe 3:8 But let not this one thing be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with the Lord is "as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Psa. 90:4
2Pe 3:9 The Lord of the promise is not slow, as some deem slowness, but is long-suffering toward us, not having purposed any to perish, but all to come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with rushing sound, and having burned the elements will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be burned up.

the answer is simple. in the old testament the book of ezekial speaks of israel coming under attack before the tribulation bringing the end of the world. this is to happen after israel becomes an independant nation and that happened 30 years ago. its all mapped out.

They have been saying that for almost 2000 years, since the first christians thought up that fantasy character.
Before that, it was the messiah to the Jews...

"Soon" is relative. Think about it...Even if He doesn't return for 100 more years, that's nothing in relation to the age of the universe.
And you know, you're welcome to your opinions, but I'm not calling you dumb for thinking Jesus is a myth.
