There are more men with eating disorders than people realize. Men are thought to make up around 1 million out of the 8 million people suffering with eating disorders. I think more men tend to have anorexia than bulimia though. They work out to stay thin for sports like wrestling, where they have a weight criteria.

Its not right for a guy or a girl to be bulimic. But it happens to both sexes. Guys don't get help or admit it as much, which skews the results of polls, but even those show that there are many males suffering from eating disorders.

No, it's not right for anyone to be bulimic. "Dudes" can suffer from bulimia just like "chicks" and it does happen, but it's not nearly as common, probably because men aren't nearly as self conscience of their bodies as women are.

It's not right for anyone to be bulimic. It's just more common in girls than guys because girls care more about their looks & are worried about getting fat.

it is not normal for either gender however this is a growing trend in the young population especially with the images we are presented with; some are fake pictures. If a person continues on this self-destructive behavior he or she will mess up their teeth, body, and mind; it is is an ugly thing to see. Body image is a danger to a young developing mind yet there are cases where older guys also fall victim to this behavior

Society pressures young women to be dangerously thin. Look at Nicole Ritchie and Kate Bosworth she looks horriibly thin now too. No it's not ok for anyone to be bulimic.
