Well...my son owns one and his door locks and windows quit working. The relay that controls the windows and doors cost around $400.00...and that is if I install it. So...be prepared for very high maintenance cost.

I am just going to bypass the circuit.

particularly straightforward how ever it ought to reason extreme injury on your engine over the simpliest blunders, so if in doubht have some one instruct you , for as products mandatory for a 2005 4 runner if it has the v6 then catsrol 10w30 is the oil type the sellers provider keep use you will desire to the two touch a broker or examine your instruction manual on the quantity of oil required i think of it became like 5 a million/2 quarts on the toyota 3.4 L v6 yet i think of the 2005 would have a 4.0 so examine ur instruction manual or call a close by broker deliver and ask to communicate with sevice center tell them the 300 and sixty 5 days style engine length and so on. they shpuld have the means to tell you , so suitable volume of oil, oil filter out wrench, and a wrench to eliminate the drain plug interior the oil pan i'm uncertain the dimensions yet a 8" adjustable (crecent wrench) is ideal,, drain the oil in a appropiate sized bucket or drain pan, eliminate the ol oilfilter be sure the rubber o ring seal continues to be on the outdated filter out and not caught to the engine block next rub sparkling oil on the gasket of the recent filter out fill the filter out with oil and set up the recent filter out hadtighten then use the wrench and make one turn to be sure seal is seated, reinstall the oil drain plug you bumped off and tighten it , next fill the engine with new oil and employing the dip stick be sure it is done yet bear in mind a engine over filled is worse than underfill, start up the engine and esnure the oillight is going off immediatley examine for leaks and wash off any spilled engine oil from the enginepersistent often,,,, ( be sure you write down the mielage on the time of substitute so which you would understand while to do your next substitute. wish i coated all of it .. solid success.

We have a '99 4Runner. It's well constructed, no squeaks or rattles. It's reliable, all we've ever done is the scheduled maintenance and oil changes at 3000 miles. If this one ever wears out, we'll get another.
