Insignia is a house brand at best buy only. All electronic stores house brands are just repackaged name brands with small differences. But these small differences make them cheaper and not as good. For instance Circuit City has ESA as there house brand. The ESA plasmas were just Samsungs in disguise but they had used a different video processors. IF you can figure out who OEMed that piece and if it was changed. If you can live with both those pieces of info then go for it. Your best bet is going to be a HTIB that uses a DVD, receiver(amp) and speakers separate. Onkyo has one Denon has one, Yamaha has a couple. Avoid any thing that crams a DVD player in with the receiver (amp)

Sure, Onkyo, Harman/Kardon, Denon, Yamaha, and if you're looking for a HTIB for under $250, I believe Panasonic has one, and JVC has one that has received rave customer reviews -the JVC TH M505...
