I must keep 1QB, 1RB,1WR,1PK/TM, 1 Any Position

Who should I pick for my "1 Any Position" spot TE-Antonio Gates or RB-Willie Parker

My other Keepers are:
QB: Drew Bledsoe
RB: LeMont Jordan
WR: Steve Smith
PK/TM: Tampa Bay

Based upon last year I was ipressed more by Parker than Jordan, but in a FF writers poll Jordan's average rank was 8.0 and Parker was 16.2.

And, in average draft position Jordan is 8 and Parker is 26.

What's so stupid about a Keeper league requireing you to keep 5 players from last year. I like the way it is set-up.

Between Gates and Parker... you have to take Gates.

Eventhough Rivers is no Brees, he is a young QB... and the TE is a young QB's best friend; plus, Gates WILL get the ball inside the redzone and everywhere else for that matter.

Parker is NOT a redzone running back... or at least down to the last 10 yards. True, Pgh is a running team, but they used Bettis at the "Bus stop" (10yards or less to the endzone to get the TD.) WHich is why Bettis started the year with 3 td, 1 yd, and 20 carries... or something like that.)

Pgh WILL do this again with either Staley or Hayes to sub into that "Bus Stop" roll.

i would try to quit that league cause it is terribly set up. I've never seen anything so stupid. But if i had to i'd keep gates in a second. And jordan is a far better choice then willie parker because he's the main man in Oakland and will score lots of touchdowns. While Parker isn't supposed to get goaline carries too often.

Honestly, neither are that impresssive. Willie Parker can't get the tough yards, and Antonio Gates has a rookie QB throwing to him. Phillip Rivers is no Drew Brees. At least you know Pitt is going to run the ball, so I'd take Willie Parker, and maybe check out the waiver wire for a more reliable option.

I would take Antonio Gates. Gates is the best Wideout on SanDiego, so he will get a lot of catches and touchdowns. Also, Parker is good, but if Roethlisberger is healthy (which he should be) he wont get a lot of carries because he is inexperienced.

it's usually best advised to keep 2 rb when given an option like this; but fast willie doesn't do it for me over gates.

carry directly to him. It grew to become into in simple terms suggested that he has had the shoulder surgical treatment final month and it sounds like as quickly as coaching camp gets started he would be with the Vikings. they don't have lots for receivers, yet regardless of in case you do not desire him, some Favre enthusiast will commerce stable gamers for him. it quite is early, so carry directly to him and see what happens.

Gates, you will be able to get a "good" running back in the draft.

keep gates because willie is getting pretty old (he is 26) and gates is there best reciever.
