Marijuana does not kill brain cells. Some dumb anti-pot jerk just made that up to try to get people to stop smoking it. Think about it: why would an all-natural substance that does not give any health problems to the individual that smokes it kill brain cells?
It's proven.

all i can say to you my friend is that if you are asking the question "DOES you brain cells grow back"..i guess you meant DO your brain cells grow back???? hello..........!!!
How long have you been smoking weed, or are your brain cells just missing congenitally?? please don't answer that question because congenital has nothing to do with Miss Congeniality.
Why am I even trying to explain this in my language. So to answer your original question.
You right are about what Internet look up showed you to be somewhat true. cell of brain if once damaged do never can ever grow back. that be part of first year medical school (where you will never go, and thank god for that to be true)
If someone told you that brain cells can grow back I would love to have that formula, as I would get the next Nobel Prize for Neuroscience... can you imagine MiKe from USA gets Nobel Prize for discovering how to use lack of exposure to cannabis to regenerate brain cells damaged by cannabis. The connection is very strong with damaged hair that can be repaired by the New and more Powerful one of a kind AVEIEDAHH CLOVE SHAMPOO. Buy now only 3 easy payments of $299. If I remember correct the Brain cells are the only part of the body that not reproduce. So, even if man can cure all disease we still could not live forever as our Brain would eventually die. But, I not sure it matter so much to be truthful about smoking weed. Many other things we do probably kill brain cells too. I not smoke weed, but, feel it is a person's choice. When I watch the American Drug Cartel advertise on TV and hear some of the side effects of their drugs, I have to be realistic and think; "What does it mater, we all going to die one day"!

i am totally ashamed that only one other person said that smoking weed does not kill brain cells. somebody please give me and LedZepBabe an unbiased source (and by that, any government or government sponsored anti-drug agency is ruled out - of course the govt. is going to tell you it's bad, they're the ones who outlaw it) that says that it kills brain cells. until you guys can do that, then stop saying that it does.

It does kill brain cells, but Yes they do grow back, something that helps rebuild them is protein, such as fish. When you quit smoking, they will rejuvenate, not all the way though.
To prevent such harm, one must be cautious of their actions. Those who do not do drugs do not risk harm. So please the next day you light up, remember you that you central nervous system and brain will be at risk.

ive studied the effects of weed use and read survey after survey on the pros and cons. ive found for every conclusion has a counter-part. studies do show however, that after the usage stops the brain has a tendency to convert other areas into usable synopsis. in other words find ways to "repair" damage by alternate routes.
like after a volcanic eruption, we build more roads around the new landscape

brain cells are constantly dieing & reproducing, it's just that when you smoke, more die off than the usuall amount, so it takes longer for them to reproduce the amount that died. if you continue to smoke without taking a few months of break, your reproducing brain cells may not catch up to make the amount you lost. also, as you get older, it slows the reproduction process.

Uh yeah.....crack and heroin are just as bad. Take a look at Rolling Stone member Keith Richards. His brain is so wasted from excessive drug use that it's not funny.
