I think I'd need some specifics before being able to answer a question like this. Like, in what ways has it gone down hill? Has he been a jerk? Or is it that you're getting bored with him? The best I can tell you is it's your call. You're the one who knows the situation best.

Just asking the question tells you the answer. You are just over the honeymoon period of your relationship. Imagine later, when you move in together, when you have children. I think it's time to breakup. Too bad you are not a match, too bad. But it's a great opportunity to move and and meet your real match!

Thats not alot of detail. What has happened? What has happened so bad that you want to break up with him. I think you need to wait and figure that out first. If you break up with him without thinking first then you just lost a great guy.

Are you having real differences or just settling in (which sometimes feels like boredom). If you have different opinions over major issues, break up. If you just feel restless, do something together that you have never done before. (That's why we have vacations from work, to get a change.)

It's kind of hard to tell without really knowing any details. All relationships take work. Maybe take a break apart from each other and see how you feel. Good luck.

Things usually cool off once the sex begins, which is why I've finally decided to wait until marriage.

Have you talked to him about how you feel. Honestly you cannot fix problems if you do not talk them out. Is he worth working it out with? Stop thinking so much and start talking.

Talk to him about it. Find out what his feelings are. If you can get back on track, fine. If not, then get out before you got too dependant on each other.
