Sure, I understand. Sometimes there appears to be no reason. It is immobilising and frustrating.
People who have never felt this way just can't understand so trying to talk to friends or family can make you feel worse.
Perhaps you need to seek professional help as if you are in the early stages of chronic depression, this is the best time to nip it in the bud.
Sadly this can become a lifelong battle for some.

I have felt this way at times and to be honest at the time I could never figure out what the heck my problem was. Then most times a few days or even a week later I would start my period. Hormones can do that to you. Sometimes there are other issues going on, but a lot of times it is the hormones. They freakin' control everything in our bodies, appetites, fatigue, moods of course as well. That can be rough. Try and hang in there and try to do something that brings you peace and just realize that tomorrow will come and most likely you will feel better. If not then you keep hang in in and it should pass. If it does not then you may want to talk to a doctor because it is also possible you have an in balance of chemicals in the brain that you have not control over and that can cause a depression as well. Hang in there and remember you get another shot the next day. Chance are it will pass soon. Take care and all the best to you.

Yes, but there may be a good explanation.
Sociologists have found that all people go through a monthly emotion pattern, identical to a woman's "cycle".
Both males and females emotional patterns involve many things, but much of it involves hormonal balances. Many of the studies they've tried shows that heightened emotions, or depressed emotions occur around the same time of the month. Studies continue to find if external things help to create the emotional cycle.
I've personally found that I have a pattern of feeling down toward the end of the month. However, I wonder if it's the external fact that all of my bills arrive at the end of the month. Now THAT is a reason to feel depressed!

Wow i'm your polar opposite- i'm the loner form and would experience completely content textile whilst on my own- even though it sounds to me such as you're actual lonely, that's totally primary, maximum folk journey this particularly situations, except you're depressed (which I essentially doubt) this appears like an inner loneliness (that's extra often than not led to with the aid of insecurities and vulnerabilities)- what you would be able to desire to do is take a step decrease back, take a destroy from human beings for a on a similar time as (and that i do no longer mean circulate stay interior the woods or some thing!) and look inwards in the direction of your self, locate out what has disenchanted your psychological stability as quickly as you're content textile along with your guy or woman corporation you will experience happier and extra look after after which you will no longer experience as lonely- and in case you're an adolescent then there's no longer something incorrect with you, all of them experience like this each so usually...

Oh yes... for quite a long time, six month or more out of a year, and for years on end.

I blamed it on being weather sensitive, on recent events that seemed to wear me down and consume my energy, I was irritable, tired all the time, sleepless and obsessive about a lot of my behavior...

It turned out that I became suicidal, I had some really bad times thinking of doing myself in, and I finally went for help.

Depression is no laughing matter, (no pun intended,) ...its the pitts. Seek professional help if you've had periods like this again and again. Feeling blue is not normal and it isn't fun. When it begins to steal weeks at a time from your life, takes the taste out of food and the color of everything seems a little grey, you need some serious help... so get it.

(I take a daily medicine and it works just fine. I finally feel so much better about my life... I hope you will, too.)

yah i feel like that more than i would like to. and it seems more than i have a real reason to. i've been thinking far too long about getting some help. i suppose i should just do it.
maybe you should talk to someone who can help you as well.

1. remember, you're not alone even when you feel that way. you have people who care about you.

2. you can do more than you think. make a list of everything that you know how to do.

3. there is probably a reason why you feel the way you do. you just need to find out what it is and learn how to deal with it.

good luck and feel better

Yes, I have the same thing. If you look hard enough you can find out what you are depressed about, sometimes it is hard to do. You just have to go threw everything that is going on with your life and when you hit the "target" you will know what it is that is bothering you. Sometimes it may be more than one thing that is causing it. I have to take meds for this from time to time, sometimes as long as 3-4 months to get my self back on the right track.

yes,and i did something about it by counseling and today i'm a better man for it. When i returned home from Vietnam i didn't even know that I was PTSD. I live a much better life now because I can understand it now and live a productive life. So when these feeling come take a long look at yourself and try to find what is missing. You can do it and i know you can. peace be with you.

Yeah often. Then my therapist sent me to a psychiatrist who diagnosed me as clinically depressed. he put me on medication which finally worked so at the moment i am free of my depression. But i do know how it feels.

Don't feel alone. There are lots of people out there who feel the same way you do. Go find help.. Take it from me it's the best thing you could do for yourself in your whole life. It's turned mine around and it will yours too.

Don't be afraid. And feel better soon.

Yes. Everyone has mood swings, it is part of being human. We can't always be having a jolly good time can we. It just makes it that much better when we get out of that depression and are happy again to know that we can get right back into a better place, doesn't it?
