Well, I know they get a lot more mucus drainage out of their tear ducts to the eyes, maybe that is how their sinuses are designed. I do not know for sure, but since both are predators (evolutionarily speaking) they need a strong sense of smell to survive. Boogies would get in the way of that.

For better info, ask your vet next visit, but that is likely the case with the need for the sense of smell and the eye duct thing. My beagle's eyes drain a lot when she has allergy issues.

probably cause they constantly lick their noses, so anything that comes out doesn't have a chance to dry into boogies. the only place it dries is around the eyes.

their nostrils are too small. boogers need a certain amount of room to form and the size of these animals nostrils are not large enough. lol
