The US has a very liberal immigration policy, and millions every year come in to this country "legally." So how is it that the US is discriminating against immigrants? We are only targeting "illegal immigrants" to deport them, and to say that the US is discriminating against them is like saying that the government of any nation discriminates when they prosecute and jail a person for robbing a bank! The government is only enforcing the law and punishing those who break the law. Right ot wrong?

I agree. You have a very good point.

Many US major corporations encourage illegal immigration. Some go as far as to create subcontractor companies, advertise in foreign newspapers for employees, and generally make it known that they are interested in illegal help.

This has been going on for years. It's gotten so bad that banks find loopholes with which to make loans to illegals, landlords look the other way for people without documentation, and everyone thinks it's a big joke--until INS wants to deport them.

It's got to start with the employers. I'm willing to go back to only four kinds of lettuce in the supermarket, if that means no illegal labor to provide the other 8 kinds at a cheap price. I don't shop at Wal-Mart already.

I'd like to see jail sentences for employers of illegal immigrants, and fines taking all revenues during the period when illegals made up more than 2% of the workforce.

US is not discriminating IMMIGRANTS ! The LEGAL IMMIGRANTS of US are against those millions Mexicans
who are infested our Country by having babies supported
by our Welfare, demanding food stamps, social Security
benefits , enjoin stolen identity, creating new crimes
gangs and killing our policemen....Is easy to have babies
when the only intention is to proclaim a new American
citizen by birth....mothers give their blessing to their young daughters to get pregnant....if that is a solution to stay in US....We have the right to stop those who enter
ILLEGALLY from the Mexican border.....All the others are welcome in this Country. My mother waited 5 long years
to be admitted in the quota from Europe...Why the Mexican people are demanding a different treatment?

No one said US is discriminating....

Its only certain individuals who have thought it is "open season on illegals"....It is about law and upholding our immigration law, some however, use it as a way to bash this group of people because they are inherently racists......
