With that transmission? Dear lord NO! Don't waste the money on a 15 hp improvement. It will not be worth it. It is a family van, use it as such until it's usefulness is gone. If you don't want it anymore, I'm sure someone else will be glad to buy it from you and drive it until it's untimely death. These were good vans, but in no way, shape, or form is it a project vehicle.

where on earth are you going to find a racing chip made for the ford aerostar van with its 3.0 liter V6 there no where near hotrods they are damn good family vans thought and are pretty tought some where even 4 wheel drive with a 4.0 liter V6 but still it would be both a waste of time and money to do anything other than routine maintence to a van

Geez dude, That's if you can find a chip for that thing (which you can't..except maybe a ranger chip or explorer for the 4.0 motor but will have codes set)

as someone said, the tranny can't hang anymore than what was factory.. unless you gut it and restart with a new motor/tranny/rear end.. forget it ... Juice a grand caravan :-)

You would be better off with some headers and 3" exhaust, use two mufflers on each side, it adds more horsepower. Make sure you get the mufflers with sealed ball bearings not tapered roller bearings. Less friction.

Does the trans artwork ok in the D place does it shift by way of each and all of the gears ok? Does it bypass into overdrive on the astounding speed? if so it is the linkage this is out of adjustment. The overdrive isn't effected till the automobile is definitely waiting to bypass into overdrive so its not a overdrive subject in basic terms make specific it does shift ok.

5 dollars say you're probably a ricer. For the love of god that's a horrible idea. If you want something fast buy a car.

If it has the 4.0 engine, towing package, and the 4.11 limited slip rear end, absolutely! But if you get a ticket for doing a smokey burnout, don't blame me...
