She always has really bad gas at mass after dinner and she's deaf. Everytime we go to church, she farts really loud and keeps doing it. I havn't made any friends at church. How do I tell my grandma without hurting her feelings?

Just stuff fresh wipes up her butt at night when she is sleeping and you should be fine.

Tell her what??? She can smell can't she?? She may not have control over the farting. Is she lactose intolerant?? Be honest and tell her how you feel or sit some where else. Approach her at home and from a place of love and respect not judgment. Peace.

Suggest Beano. I've heard it really works. I'm not trying to be flippant about this. It can be a real problem. Short of adjusting her diet to not include high gas producing foods, I suggest beano.

the fact that your grandmother is deaf doesn't mean she doesn't know what she's doing right?
So why don't you let her know that you feel uncomfortable for her doing that.
If that doesn't help maybe you should look at what she's eating and make it a fart save diet from Saturday till Sunday.

As you get older, that is one thing that you can not control, but you can nicely ask her if she knows that she is doing it. Have her to set on a pillow while in church to help muffle the sound.

Introduce her to Beno, the pill that stops gas at its source.

cut her some slack...she's OLD!!...
but if it really bothers her, just be honest with her and let her know that it's causing problems for you....or maybe ask her if she'd mind if you sat with your friends during the services so that you don't have to be around her while she's doing it

try writing it down on an index card and just be sweet about it.....try this---> "Grandma i know this might be inapropiate but could you please excuse yourself to the restroom if you need to pass a flatulant?? im sorry that this is a little blunt but i still love you and had no other way to ask you to stop. please forgive me."

has nothing to with her hearing, i'm sure she can feel when she's
going to fart. think you should just be honest with her
