The term has been derived from how many Mexicans got to America - by swimming from Mexico through the Rio Grande River.

"*******" is a racist slur used against illegal immigrants (generally Mexicans). I believe it was originally used as a reference to Mexicans entering the United States by swimming across the Rio Grande.

In Texas and some states swimming or boogie boarding in is the way to go for illegals. You don't hear that term in California, where they climb, walk or tunnel across. About 40% are visa overstays and they'd need a different name too. Illegal alien is more efficient.

Because they crossed the Rio Grande by swimming, rather than legal channels. The term is '*******,' or just 'wet.'

Cause when they are crossing the border out in the hot sun their backs get all sweaty. That's all I can think of, either way it's just plain wrong!

Teddy Rosevelt used that verry word to describe illegal immigrants, so if the prez says it , then I guess it is common place forthe rest of us.
